Infant Program

At Quinte Child Care Centre, we recognize the need for infant spaces in our local community.  As such, we offer three spaces for infants between the ages of 0 and 18 months.

A warm and loving atmosphere prevails in our Infant Room where a 1 : 3 ratio (one staff to three infants) enables our staff to provide individualized care for each baby.

Infants are nurtured through a variety of sensory and movement experiences.  Daily time spent outdoors also engages infants with the world around them.  

The importance of communication between parents and staff is emphasized through a daily record of each baby's activities, food intake and diaper routine.  Our Centre uses a secure, online-based software solution from HiMama - a Canadian company who specializes in software to ensure daily, informative communication between parents and their child care provider.  You'll know daily what your child ate, how long they slept, and more - including pictures of all their fun!
